Refkar Soğutma ve Isı Transfer Cihazları San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. was founded in 2008 by combining years of experience with a new organizational structure, starting production in İkitelli Demirciler Industrial Site with a 300 m² workspace and a two-person team. Refkar applied its years of experience to a single-column press, and through an intensive work pace, reinvested all of its initial revenue into machinery, fueling its growth.

In 2011, Refkar expanded to a 1,500 m² facility with a team of 15, establishing its position in the industry with ISO 9001 Quality Management-compliant and CE-certified products. During this period, Refkar further developed by adding 5 engineers, 3 technical draftsmen, and specialized software for refrigeration and production, continuing its commitment to growth and technological advancement.

With the addition of CNC vertical machining centers, plasma pipe cutting units, fully automatic copper pipe processing and bending machines, robotic and semi-automatic welding systems, and over 50 other types of machinery, Refkar steadily increased its capacity. Since 2021, Refkar has been operating with nearly 100 employees in a 3,500 m² enclosed factory, located on a 6,500 m² open space, along with an additional 1,600 m² production facility on 3,500 m² of open land. The company continues to strive to provide better service to its valued business partners.

Refkar is one of the leading manufacturers in the Turkish HVAC industry, specializing in Shell & Tube type heat exchangers. The company produces a wide range of tubular heat exchangers used in various applications. Its main product line includes Shell & Tube evaporators compatible with Freon refrigerants, flooded type evaporators, water-cooled condensers, seawater-cooled condensers, as well as CO₂ heat exchangers, biogas heat exchangers, oil coolers for hydraulic systems, immersion type oil coolers, “Safety Heat Exchangers” (double-tube safety type heat exchangers) for transformers, seawater cooling heat exchangers, floating head heat exchangers, and many other types of specialized products within Refkar’s portfolio.

The material range used in production is extensive. Refkar utilizes copper heat transfer tubes in various sizes, copper-nickel alloy tubes, stainless steel or titanium tubes, carbon steel tubes, and similar raw materials. These materials are always in stock and available to meet customer demands.

Refkar is actively participating in various international fairs and commercial delegation organizations in order to become a global company. In addition to Turkish, product catalogs are also prepared in English, Russian, and other languages to reach a wider audience.

In addition to classic catalogs, the "Refkar Selector" product selection program provides users with an easy way to select products. The program is available in five languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.
